Guided River Paddle Cruise
The River cruise has sold out. There is still room on the Harbour Cruise, however.
On Saturday, May 16th, test paddling wraps up around 4:00pm and the store closes at 5:00pm but that doesn’t mean you have to go home. After the first day of Paddlefest comes to a close what else would you expect us to do except go paddle. And you’re invited! Come along with us for a leisurely trip down the Milwaukee River. For those of you who have never seen the city from on the water, it’s a must. For those of you who have, it’s a great opportunity to meet some fellow paddlers and get out on the water.
This year, we will again be opening up our demo fleet for you to pick your boat from if you so choose. The Paddlefest demo activities are scheduled to end at 4:00pm. At 4:30, participants are welcome to either bring their gear down to our dock or, select a boat from either our fleet or manufacturers' fleets to take out on the cruise. Boat choice is on a first come first serve basis and there will be no reserving of boats prior to 4:30pm on May 16th.
At 5:30pm, once our staff members have had time to change into their paddling gear, we’ll head out down the river. This is a round-trip paddle which means we’ll be leaving from and returning to the Laacke & Joys dock. Participants can expect to be back at the store around 7:00pm or so.
Cost of the trip is: $10 per person or $15 for two people.

Healthy snacks and coffee will be provided by Outpost Natural Foods and Stone Creek Coffee Roasters.
