LAACKE & JOYS
ADVENTURE EDUCATION PROGRAMS
At Laacke & Joys, we are committed to selling you the right gear for your outdoor pursuits. But even the best gear will do you little good if you don't know how to use it properly. That's why we started our Adventure Education Programs. We want you to get maximum enjoyment from the equipment you have, and help you make more informed choices when it comes time to purchase new gear.
In our classes and seminars, we strive to provide qualified, personalized instruction that will enhance your skills and safety. We want to challenge you to expand your knowledge and abilities, and teach you to recognize what you still have yet to learn. In our paddling classes, we maintain a 6:1 student to instructor ratio so that we can give quality instruction and provide a safe learning environment.
In addition to our regular scheduled classes, we invite you to utilize our staff for private lessons, to help you plan a special paddling trip, or to put together a program for your school, club, or other organization. If you’ve dreamed of being on the water in a canoe or kayak, let us help you make that dream come true in 2008!
Below is our 2008 Class Schedule. Click on the Adventure Education Brochure link to the right to download a PDF.
