Sea Kayaks

Current Designs’ Cypress – A bigger version of the successful Willow for those paddlers looking for a “quick, responsive kayak with an extra degree of stability.”

Heritage Pisgah – This tried-and-true sea kayak is making its first appearance under the Heritage brand name. Developed by Liquid Logic, the Pisgah has great stability and tracks very well.

Canoes

Native Watercraft Tegris Ultimate 12 – Native’s new Tegris® material provides excellent impact resistance and hull stiffness without sacrificing weight. The Tegris version of the popular Ultimate 12 weighs in at a meager 36lbs. Compare that to its 55lbs. rotomolded variant.

We-no-nah Northfork – This is the first time that we have brought this 16’9” polyethylene canoe to our stores. This rugged canoe offers great versatility and at only $899, it won’t break the bank in the process.

We-no-nah Wilderness – This solo canoe is designed for tripping. Coming in just over 15 feet, there’s plenty of room to store all your essentials and the kitchen sink.

We-no-nah Wee Lassie – This brand new solo canoe is extremely fun to paddle and at only 24lbs. it is an absolute dream to carry to and from the water. Coming in at 12’6”, this Kevlar beauty is a must see for anyone who’s ever considered a solo canoe.

Sit-on-top Kayaks

For those of you who wouldn’t mind skipping spring to head straight for summer, we now offer Ocean Kayaks line of sit-on-top kayaks. The all-around versatile Scrambler, the women’s specific Venus, and the Peekaboo which has a viewing window in the hull are all on display.

White Water

All this snow promises a fantastic spring runoff. We are very proud to have added Liquid Logic’s extraordinary boats to our lineup. We currently have both the Remix and Crossriver family on display. In addition, we also have the Jefe and Jefe Grande available from our rental fleet for those who are interested to test the new outfitting system. For those of you who have not yet had the chance to test drive Liquid Logic’s new system, come on in and test it out for yourselves.

We also carry the rack systems and trailers for your vehicle that will allow you to transport your canoe or kayak with ease. If you aren't sure which canoe or kayak might be best for you, read the article on "Choosing Your First Kayak" or talk to one of our paddling experts. They can help you evaluate your needs and narrow your choice of boats.

At the Downtown store, you can test paddle the boats on the Milwaukee River right behind the building! If you need a longer test paddle to make up your mind, take advantage of our rental program. If you already own a canoe or kayak, we carry all the clothing and accessories you could need or want to enhance your paddling experience. And if we don't have it in stock, we can probably get it for you!
